MIT Interview - Do They Read Your Application?

I’m scared of being redundant! or the opposite, casually referencing something on my application, leaving her clueless. Please resp soon! I’m in NYC scheduling now with my EC.

Thank you!!!

Your interviewer does not read your application. By design, we know very little about the students we interview. MIT only gives us the name, address and high school they attend.

The interview and the written application are meant to compliment each other. The ECs do not have access to your application by design. They are also instructed not to discuss your grades, test scores, etc

The purpose of the interview is to find out what kind of person are you. Relax and have fun with your interview. It is also meant to provide you with any info you may want about MIT.
