MIT Interview

Anybody took one before? Any tips? I am just wondering if being from halfway round the world, the alumni might ask slightly different stuff than what I find online about interviews conducted in the states.

I am in Delhi BTW.

Thanks!

Bump.

Anyone?

Another bump.

Seriously? No Indian guy here ever took an MIT Interview?

I have sent a mail to my EC and he hasn’t replied yet. So have you fixed your interview time and date?

Two of my friends had their interviews in Delhi by Mr Dilip Coelho.

Be yourself. It’s on the spot. Some general questions about why you chose MIT and why should MIT accept you. Life Goals. Etc etc. Hypothetical situations. As is obvious, it depends a lot on your interviewer and their mood. It was quite fun :D

Mine’s with Mr. Coelho too. Will I have to travel to Delhi (3 hours) or can it be done over the phone/Skype?

I didnt ask. Call him up ask ask if he’s ready

I had my interview for another college. The questions are very general. As far as the difference in the Educational system is concerned you might have to clarify it at the beginning if the interviewer is inexperienced. Other wise it’s more of a casual discussion than an “interview”. So just have fun with it. Best of luck !

woo tanarch. met you after a real long time!!!

Poser wow 10char

Poser?

Akashdip - Yes, these applications are really demanding.
