MIT interview

Mollie or Chris
I have got a query about MIT interview and that is in my part 2 of application there was a section for significant challenges faced and things that did not go according to my plan.

I completed that part and also I have written in it something like this,

...there is one more significant challenge which I can not report it here but told about it in my interview...

now that something which I did not report there but told about it in the interview is something
very important part in my application and makes me special, how do I know if my interviewer remembered what I told and reproduced it in the same way, when my interviewer was asked about me,will the interviewers remember every thing that a student tells them or will they record or do either of the above i.e they will remember only partially

They are not guaranteed to remember everything. Why can’t you report it in the regular part of your application?

It is big enough that it won’t fit there and if I will express it in words the essence of it will be lost

Well, I don’t know about MIT in particular, but I dot think the interviewers are going to remember everything you say. The essence of it will be lost on paper, you say? Find a way to say it on paper, just to cover yourself if it is something they really need to know.

The interviewer will submit to MIT admissions a written letter describing you. It’s basically another recommendation letter. If something is extremely important to your application, you probably want to mention it somewhere else as well.

Thank you for that reply
