MIT Launch Summer Program 2016

The email explicitly says that we can’t share the link, sorry.

My interview is in a week or so.

Maybe they’ll add more interview slots later?

@Bse15578 - I would think so, hopefully, if they aren’t fully satisfied or interested with the students they’re interviewing.

It’s about 2 weeks until decisions are released and I haven’t gotten an interview still :expressionless:

I haven’t either, yet, but apparently they can make really last minute decisions, so I’m hoping that’ll be the case for me, as well as other people who still haven’t received an interview yet :slight_smile:

@treeroot I hope so!

@Bse15578 I guess they would be taking “some” students without interview too, isn’t it? OR, is it necesary for everyone being selected to have an interview?

What if we are selected (hopefully) and are unnecessarily getting worried about not getting an interview(?).

Can anyone confirm the above things?

@hoshjoshe - I’m wondering about the same things…

@DrScienceScD Did that and got a reply with a solution. Thanks a lott!

But as someone has said before, I don’t think anyone has gotten accepted before without an interview.

@Bse15578 - That’s what I’ve gotten the impression of…

@treeroot yeah I guess it really depends on the interview then :expressionless: From what I’ve heard, no one who has gotten an interview has been rejected before.

@Bse15578 - I’ve heard that someone got an interview for early decisions but then was deferred (but not fully rejected though…)

Interviews don’t mean that you’re getting in, many people who get interviews don’t get accepted.

@jinxwizard really? I haven’t seen anyone get rejected on CC threads for Launch after an interview. Although I’m fairly certain no interview means no acceptance :frowning: Still hoping for a last minute interview

Maybe waitlisted if you weren’t given an interview?

@Bse15578 - There might be some people who don’t contribute to the CC threads that have gotten an interview but were rejected.

@treeroot true! I wonder how many more interviews are still being given out

No interview. Is all hope lost?

@Admission371 - Not necessarily; we still have about 2 more weeks before decisions come out, so I wouldn’t lose hope just yet. They may also make really last minute decisions, so I’m hoping that’ll be the case.
