When do they let us know? Can't find it on mit.edu

I can't find it either. I think they just want you to assume that you are rejected, unless they tell you otherwise :P

LOL, ahahahaha.. ok..that was funny...

/me waits a couple minutes...

and gut wrenching at the same time :-

OMG i can not believe you guys applied to MIT. 8 out of like 500?
ROFLMONEKYS!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA (jk)

8/500 is okay, maybe jacknjill and head quarter will be 2 of the 8 right :D
Best of Luck guys

yeah i think it is best to assume you got rejected unless told otherwise.

it's 6 out of 302. this year it is supposed to be around 11 out of 250.
i applied too. not only did i apply but my essay was over the word limit by 800+ words. you laugh all you want. statistics don't matter. i have been in the top 5 in multiple endeavors amongst much larger groups of people... so why not try...
let us dream.

Nah I didnt apply. Not all of us are amazing martinibluex.

The reason I didn't apply was not because of the low acceptance rate, but simply because there would be almost no fellow transfers to identify with. And I'm guessing that at least half of the few transfers that get in probably have some sort of connection.

MIT has simply made the decision that they want their students to spend all 4 years of undergraduate study at their school. I'm not saying that's good or bad, but it's their decision.

i was just kidding. And i commend you guys for applying to your dream schools. If you don't apply you have 0 chance and even if you don't get in, you know you tried. (CARPE DIEM)

P.S. I might be applying to MIT for transfer next year. Just for the fun of it.

your chance of gettin in is like 1/e^6000000000000000000000

My chance of getting in is more like 1/0

wow... applying to MIT, i don't even think about it.
