<p>I am sorry to tell you that we are not able to admit you to MIT as a transfer student. You are an excellent applicant, but we can admit just a few of the many top students who apply each year. The competition for those spaces is tough - virtually all of our applicants did well in demanding academic programs with superb levels of individual achievement outside of the classroom. Unfortunately, we are not able to admit more top students at this time.</p>
