<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I applied to MITES for this summer. I am really anxious to know if I got in, but for the time being, could some of the previous MITES attendees (preferably those from last year or the most recent) please inform me of exactly how they spent there summer at MIT. Some of my questions are: Did you guys receive homework on the weekends? What are some of the projects you enjoyed? Is the acceptance rate really 7-8%? Could you tell me something most people ( for those that applied) don't know about MITES? </p>

<p>Also, who else applied for MITES this year and what are you looking forward to?</p>

<p>Over 1750 students applied. Also, there is a thread for MITES 2013 where many of us have been posting about ourself and those who attended last year have been answering all of our questions. It’d be great for you to check the thread (although we have over 600 posts already). I’d give you a link but im on my phone. </p>
