Mix Background = Unique?

Question: I'm a mix of the two worst ethnic minorities to be if you want to get into college. Half half. Oh yeah, I'm also semi Indonesian. A parent was born there.
Does the fact that I'm a MIX do anything to nullify the effects, or does it make it twice as worse?

mumble mumble stupid overachieving Asians....making life so difficult for me

wants ethnicity surgery

Well, it can't hurt. We all know URMs have a leg up on everyone else... so use what you have!

some asians are URM, it's only the CHinese, Koreans and Japanese ** that aren't **:D

edit in bold

Aye, what about Indians?

they go under "Others" ;)

J/K :D

i believe Pakistani-Americans aren't considered URMs at Pton either

and I would be more than happy to be wrong :)

I think that URM is hispanics, african americans, and native americans.
Asians for some reason aren't seen as underpriveleged, who knows.

Is Filipino-Spanish considered URM?

I am half indonesian and was born in Indonesia... we definitely are an URM

What's URM?

ultra-roasted mad-cow

alwaysfaithful... gasp! :P

URM = Under-Represented Minority

fries and sizzles

yo, why can't they roast the pigs from time to time?
