Mixed Lunch

our lunch is 25. and my house is like 15 minutes away from school too! i hate eating in the cafeteria. something about it i just hate.

but I’m number 2 right now ~

but I’ve already applied, so maybe I can transfer

I can be in your AP Euro class! :]

^ Question: what is northern Wisconsin like? Like, the part away from Milwaukee and not near Madison either?

Wow, really? Ours is 40 minutes and I thought that was short. Is there a minimum lunch period requirement of at least 30 minutes by law? Or maybe that’s just in NJ.

lol I guess just New Jersey

40 minutes would be SO nice! i’d do all my physics hw then.

40 minutes too. I’ve always wanted a cafeteria. The whole school (~1200 people) has lunch at the same time though, so it might not be too feasible. We just sort of…spread out all over the school.

Lmao! We had to do that Wednesday’s in Middle School. Of course, it only lasted like 3 Wednesday’s, then everyone was like “Screw this.”

why on wednesdays only? weird.

My school has over 1,600 students. We have 1 lunch period and can eat anywhere.

How do you fit in one school?? :O

i guess my town qualifies. although we’re not TOO far from those cities. um… you know… lotsa cows and corn, not many people, many republicans.

We can only eat in the cafeteria and the seniors can eat and do whatever they like in the… umm…I don’t know how to describe it…umm in the…sun room? garden? My school is shaped like a circle and right in the middle of the school, there is no ceiling, just plants and benches and tables, reserved for only seniors.

@tres elefantes: I’m moving to Iowa from the northeast in a few months so I guess I’ll get to experience that first hand…

right now my school has about 2500 students. Thank goodness we don’t all eat lunch in the same period:)

“How do you fit in one school?? :O”

I actually go to the school in the county that is the least crowded (I think). We have no trailers or anything.

^ isn’t your hometown smaller than mine?? How are there that many high school students :open_mouth: (we also have people from nearby hamlets that have like 500 people each, so that may be why)

^^ omg. I live within walking distance of a town with less than 2500 people :O

atrium thing? MDI (our maine rival) has one of those things. Ours is lame and does not

xrCalico, why are you moving? and you’re a senior, correct? after graduation i hope? (btw, iowa has some fabulous cities by my standards =D well, just one)

you get used to it. i am. i’ve gotten used to my town, although i can’t wait to get out. i will enjoy no longer living in a place where a quarter of the people in my classes have a confederate flag on their cell phone covers (confederate flags are shockingly popular here) and republicans win every election.

“My school is shaped like a circle and right in the middle of the school, there is no ceiling, just plants and benches and tables, reserved for only seniors.”

Yeah, my school as two courtyards. I use to play hackysack in them during lunch =P

^^ I went on google earth and zoomed in on nowhere in particular (apparently Irma, Wisconsin) and it’s like Maine plus farmland. [moralism]We’re not that different after all[/moralism]

lulz. no surprise there. except i always thought maine was liberal…?

" isn’t your hometown smaller than mine?? How are there that many high school students :open_mouth: (we also have people from nearby hamlets that have like 500 people each, so that may be why)"

Eh? There are 12 high schools in my county o.O
