mixed msg's re EDII vs RD

I Loved Colgate, it's definitely my #1 choice. All of my stats, etc are good, except the all important SAT/ACT. Don't know whether to go EDII or RD. I'd so appreciate ANY advice or thoughts. Here goes...

Senior Class President
3 year Softball Captain
7 yrs travel ball
3.8 UW/4.1W
All AP's and honors classes-5,5,4 and a 3
taking 4 AP's now
Good essays, great recs
Interview went very well
Lots of good EC's, volunteer work
top 5% of class
Large, suburban public school, class of around 375
School sends very few kids to highly selective schools, they just don't apply!
But....a 29 ACT
Any thoughts? Thanks

Colgate doesnt focus on one aspect of the person, and your ACT wont hurt. i got into Colgate ED with a 29 ACT. youre a much stronger applicant than just your scores

I don't know what a 29 ACT translates to on an SAT scale, but if it's your #1 choice, you should apply EDII.

29 ACT ~ 2000 SAT? I don't know. I would say avg. chance

you can still get into colgate with a 29 ACT, esp EDII

the big thing ive noticed is that people here are incredibly smart, but your grades here are a reflection of how hard you work. I have the lowest scores on my floor and did well the first semester, while i have met people who have gotten 1400, even 1500+ SAT and received gpas below a 3.0 bc of laziness

^^Thanks-your comments make me feel even better about applying there!
