<p>Does anyone know if Swarthmore has a Model UN team? I'm a transfer applicant interested in applying, but Model UN is a pretty massive part of my life, and would like to continue it at a new school.</p>
<p>They do not have Model UN. They have a great debate team.</p>
<p>Actually not true. Last year a student who graduated from my high school started a Swarthmore Model UN. I don’t know how successful it is, but it’s there.</p>
<p>I stand corrected. I checked with my current student who told me that a Model UN team was “chartered” last semester.</p>
<p>Actually it’s <strong>very</strong> successful. Two of my very good friends (now alumni) started it; it’s had enormous success.</p>
