My FA package showed up but it would still be 41k with their loans and grants. Other private schools would be 35-37k. I can’t decide if it’s worth it to go to private instead of state. :/

it says my FAO account can’t activate , and i can’t see FA package . What should I do?

Excited to get in, but then found that FA isn’t great for us. Need-based only, for spring term only, and it will all change in subsequent years as one parent has recently been employed in a new job which won’t qualify us for the same level of need-based aid later. Was hoping for a merit award. So… not sure if this will really be an option for us.

Waiting to hear from Scripps and Oberlin. D has four other schools that are perfectly good options (with significant merit aid) so there is no bad outcome and I’m sure she’ll be happy wherever she ends up. MHC would have been a dream, though. Wishing you all well.

D filled out the contact form because she lost her login and password, but it’s not your typical automated system where they send you what you need right away. Assuming this means she has to wait until Monday, when a live human will be in the office to sort it out. Ugh!

Congrats to those who got in!

@Massmomm,

Did she get an email titled “Your Admission Decision”? Check that; my D’s email included her login and password information as a reminder.

Accepted as a spring admit! I’m elated but i feel kind of confused though lol.

WAITLISTED. 3.1 UW 3.3 W 2010 SAT . yup. ok.

Waitlisted Thought I wouldn’t even get in.

le sigh

Hi everyone, I want to congratulate those of you who were accepted! I’m applying as a transfer applicant, so I won’t be hearing back until hopefully next week. I wanted to ask some of you a question though…

I have a brother who is in college and so on my Financial Aid page there is a Sibling in College verification form. The form just states that they need to confirm that my brother is in college, however, at the end of the form it says “If this form is not returned, aid will be adjusted on the assumption that there are no other children other than yourself, the Mount Holyoke College student, enrolled in an eligible program.”

Then it says the due date is August 1st and asks for my Student ID number.

Do any of you guys who were accepted who have siblings in college have this? Maybe I’m just really reading too much into it. I don’t want to get my hopes up for no reason :(

Accepted with almost full aid!
2250 SAT-R

Good luck everyone!
I hope to meet many of you at college this fall :)

But congratulations to all of you! Good luck with college.

waitlisted, but as I have been flat rejected from everywhere else I’m really pleased :)

Pipermaru, big hugs, you’ll get accepted to your perfect school and be so happy there. Even if right now it doesn’t seem like it. It takes a lot of grace to wish people luck when you’re unhappy, so thank you for that wish you all the best x
