Is their a money out their for having perfect attendance for 13 years of high school.

You could do an internet search, but that is a concept that is not embraced much since people do get ill and should not be in crowds…this is probably not a good year to be looking for something like that with the H1N1 scare and increased awareness about not passing illness to others but do a search on it and you might be surprised.

I have tooking care of my sickness before, and if it come down to it I will, but miss school if it highley indangers others.

I have never heard of money for perfect attendance. I think this has been asked in the past and no one had heard of one.

Ok, but i will won’t take your word for it.

If you find one report back so we will have the info if anyone asks in the future.

Ok then I will.

Hey I havemade once but cant seem to find it again.

Go to the forum you want and click on “new thread” at the top of the thread list. (you can’t do it from your current thread. You have to go to the beginning page of the forum where it list all the threads in the forum).

Thanks i found it.

13 years of high school? How old are you?

15 years old, i am only in the 10 garde, but plane on finishing without missing a day.

Since you’re only 15 years old, consider this…

It’s very unlikely that a school awards a scholarship for perfect attendance because…

A) it doesn’t do anything for the college. Colleges award scholarships for stats that help them with their rankings.

B) it couldn’t be awarded until after graduation.

Also, there’s no reason for an outside group to award such a scholarship.

If there were such a scholarship offered from some obscure school, it would likely be for such a low amount of money that it wouldn’t be worth attending the school.

If such a scholarship was offered by a private group, it’s likely that it would only be for a low amount and offered for only one year…hardly worth pursuing.

You would be much BETTER off spending this time making sure that your stats are scholarship-worthy…have a high GPA and high test scores. Then you will have many choices of schools to choose from AND the scholarship would be for more than one year. Focusing on the possibility of a small scholarship isn’t worth your time. If a scholarship is desired, focus on one that is more likely.

Thanks for that information, but i have heard of scholarships for this but havent been able to to get anyting solid. Plush it will look good on a aplication that I am very realible.

Forgive me if you think this is rude, but I’m wondering based on your sentence structure are you an international student? If so you will find much information on the International student forum.

no I live in mississippi but dont have the best spell and things like that, as you may expect me to

No i stay in Mississippi but my spelling and other things are not as well as you might expect them to be. That why i am still in school.

Seriously, there have been past threads about this same issue, and the only thing that came up was the some school districts offered small cash awards to students with perfect attendance.

Do yourself a favor and concentrate on your academics, your writing/spelling skills, testing abilities, etc. You’ll have a much better time getting a generous scholarship to Miss St that way.
