I am also holding a H4 visa while my mom is holding H1. I’m currently a senior at an Indiana high school. I just applied for IU Bloominton, and considered an international student, but I e-mailed an officer at IU and she said I’m eligible for applying in-state tuition after I am admitted. However, I think the biggest problem is that H4 is not eligible for FAFSA. My parents said they will pay for my college since i’m the only child, but i still want to find as many scholarships as possible. Unfortunately, a big numer of scholarships requires US citizenship and permanent residency. Hope I can get my green card soon! T^T

Since Meru hasn’t posted in over two years I doubt you’ll get an answer. Perhaps you can start your own thread?
