<p>can someone post some of the scholarships that give out A LOT a merit money. i'm talking 25,000 dollar scholarships ( not the $1000 kind....but of course, anything helps).</p>
<p>ps: not school scholarships. Only things like the coca cola scholars.</p>
<p>You have to tell us more. There are not that many pure merit scholarships (outside) most consider need.</p>
<p>If you do have need and great stats, the best aid will be the need based aid at top colleges. You will also qualify for merit scholarships that don't test need at second and third tier schools.</p>
<p>Big merit opportunities go way down if you're stats are not very high.</p>
<p>Big outside scholarships tend to be for minorities and special talents.</p>
