If the school gives you scholarship money you don't have to apply for it right?

Usually schools have certain requirements for students to be eligible for a scholarship (such as submitting your college application by a priority deadline, writing a supplemental essay, etc.); but there usually isn’t a separate application for each individual scholarship they offer.

namesss – Have you been offered a scholarship by JMU, or is this a general question?

Has anyone gotten scholarship money from JMU yet? I don’t really expect any but it would be nice to know.

We still have not heard anything regarding money. My son accepted for freshman class.

My DD was offered a Madison Achievement Scholarship about a month ago. I believe each department sends out their own scholarship offers. We have not heard anything about financial aid though.
