While trying to purchase a monthly parking permit online the site keeps trying to bill me for an annual parking permit even with the "monthly payment" option selected.
It occured to me that maybe UCSD didn't even have monthly parking permits and just had that option as an installment.

So what's the deal? Can I get get a parking permit for one month only or not?

EDIT: Also, I don't want some of the books I reserved on the textbook reservation service. Is there any way to let them change my order before the pickup date?

The “Monthly payment” option means that you’re still buying an annual permit, but they bill your Tritonlink each month ($61) instead of all at once.

I’m not sure if you can buy a permit for one month online, but I’m pretty sure you can do it in person. Go to the Gilman parking office when you arrive on campus.

Having a bike or just walking quickly will get you there. Do not rely on the shuttle, it would take wayy longer than 10 minutes to shuttle. And they don’t always come right when you need them to.

Thank you, ucsandiego915. That set my mind at ease.
