Rofl parking permit?

was looking through the bookstore and saw the description for the parking permit…

"One Day Permit

Purchase this permit to use for one day. Clearly mark an X — with black ink — on both the month and date of use when you park. A properly marked permit allows you to park in the:

S (student) spots — 24 hours daily
B (staff) spots — 24 hours daily
A (faculty) spots — 4:30pm – 7:45am
Meters (with no fee) — 4:30pm – 7:45am $ 6.00 "

can you say erasable ink ?

they keep a carbon copy when you purchase it, I think.

well, if the daily parking permits are like the ones at uc berkeley where i interned last year: there is a thin layer of a silver substance on each month and date. you rub off the silver for the specific month and date, then you mark an x in black ink so that it is visible to the parking attendant. using an erasable ink does not allow you to reuse the parking permit as the removed silver indicates that it has already been utilized!

Hopefully they're not like that...
