<p>barrons: Any idea why so many more freshman (1241 more than in 2011) were admitted this past year? They also had a larger-than-usual (>6000) intake of freshman as a result.</p>

<p>IMHO yields were higher than expected for some admits. I think the larger class was a mistake casued by the high yields. 5800 or so is the goal.</p>
