I'm the co-editor-in-chief of my school's yearbook. Which, if any, do you think looks more impressive to college admissions offices: being the editor of the school newspaper or yearbook? Or would you say they're both held in the same regard? Just wondering; thanks!

newspaper in my mind it shows more of a work ethic you know you hade to publish weekly instead of once a year. chance me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1082453-chance-me-universitys.html

impossible to tell without knowing the context, how much responsibility each position has and how much effort each put in the respective student publicliation. it differs among high schools and varies between individuals. both positions can be equally impressive or not impressive at all, depending on how it’s presented.

but if you want to judge based on the leadership title alone, I would say they’re the same.

Both of my school’s publications have won state-level awards. It just really bugs me because there’s this constant rivalry between them started by editors past, and the newspaper staff feels the need to (unsatcastically) voice that they’re superior. Haha it really angers me!
