I keep checking the official USMA calendar and they still don't have A-day on there. In the past, it has been on the next Saturday after march back which would put it on Aug. 18th...BUT with the date change for R-day who knows when they will schedule A-day.

I am anxious to start making travel plans for A-day, but afraid to do it until it is on the official calendar. Hurry up and wait some more!

WAmom68, A-Day is definitely on the schedule. The calendar is down right now but I am positive I saw it and I believe it was the 18th. It said Acceptance Day not A-day. Marchback is on the 12th which is a Sunday and that is different than 2010's marchback.

Thanks WP2010Mom. When the calendar is up I'll look again. On the master calendar I did not see Acceptance Day listed but maybe I was looking in the wrong place. I did see the two different marchback's listed one for CBT (cadet basic training) and one for CFT (cadet field training). If I have my acronyms right CBT is "beast" for class of 2011.

WAmom68,
The calendar is up and I just checked to make I wasn't misleading the entire forum. The Master Calendar does not identify A-Day. But the Academic Calendar does, August 18th 2011.
Go to Academic Calendar tab, click on AY2008 and scroll down to August.

Thanks for the info. I found it under the academic calendar just like you said. Since they had R-day and PPW under the master calendar I assumed they would have acceptance day there too. That's what I get for assuming anything. ;)

KateMac - I wrote an email to USMA admissions about the discrepancy between the press release and the academic calendar. I got a response yesterday...R-day is July 2nd.
