more then 10 schools on fasfa

<p>Ok listen to this... I sent my fasfa to the first 10 colleges... I received a confirmation e-mail from FASFA that my information was sent to the first 10 schools. I then made sure with a FASFA rep that if I removed these 10 schools and added 10 more that the first 10 would have access to my information. They said yes the first 10 schools would still be able to get it. So I removed the first 10 and added the other 10. Just to make sure that the first 10 got it I started to call each school. Well they said they don't "really" have it until they download it and if I removed them from the first list of 10 they won't be able to retrieve it from FASFA. They said I would of missed there deadlines and not be able to receive financial aid.</p>

<p>Some said they don't download it until the end of February. This is mind boggling to think that you are under the impression that your first 10 schools received your fasfa and they did not.</p>

<p>Can someone please clarify how this all works for more then 10 schools.</p>

<p>You have TWENTY colleges on your list???..anyway… now that I’m over the shock… follow dodgersmom post for more detail. This comes up with someone every year and as long as your FAFSA was processed you can go in delete and add more schools. Remember if anything has to be updated you need to repeat the process…put 10 in, make the changes, wait until you receive the e-mail, delete and put the rest in…</p>
