<p>Does anyone know if the UNC application gets sent to the MC committee at any point? </p>

<p>My daughter has submitted her MC application and is just trying to finish up the UNC supplement. Unfortunately, two of the UNC prompts are very similar to the MC prompts and she does not like the other prompt. </p>

<p>She is trying to figure out if she can use one of her MC essays for UNC. If they are not shared, this is clearly the way to go. If they are shared, then a new essay is one more opportunity to let them know who she is. </p>

<p>Just to pre-empt the negative comments, this is not an issue of laziness. She just feels that the essays she has already written are very strong.</p>

<p>The MC committee will never see your daughter’s UNC application, so she can definitely use one of her MC essays for the UNC app. Good luck to her in both processes!</p>

<p>My son used one of his MC essays for a number of schools including UNC. Not a problem if it works.</p>
