Morrill Scholarship at Ohio State - Class of 2025

I have seen two to three students who got admitted in Dec 2020 for the Fall 2021 semester being notified of their Morrill Scholarships. Any one else has received notification? Let us use this thread to discuss Morrill Scholarship updates.

We are waiting as well! Actually was notified yesterday that my daughter received both the Maximus and the Buckeye scholarships. It was very nice to hear, but wondering if this means she’s out of the running for Morrill??

@muhlme Congratulations to your daughter! She is absolutely still eligible for Morrill. If she gets Morrill, she will be awarded the greater of the two scholarships.

Did you receive merit scholarship info via email (personal or Buckeye) or was it mail. My daughter has been waiting patiently to hear back about scholarships. Hoping she hears soon.

If she were to get Morrill, it would replace Maximus and Buckeye.
Source: " Please note that due to its high value, the Level of Morrill Scholarship replaces any other merit scholarship you may receive from Undergraduate Admissions."

@muhlme I believe decisions are rolling. I have seen some students report they have received this scholarship already.

I received my Morrill acceptance a week after my OSU acceptance. However, I’ve heard that they are rolling and will continue to be released through mid-March.

Has anyone heard anything about Morrill recently?

I’ve been trying to keep track of when people have found out and I think email waves come out once every few Fridays. So maybe tomorrow??? Idk when exactly but I’m convinced decisions come out on Fridays lol
