<p>I just interviewed for the Distinction scholarship yesterday, and they said they would be letting us know soon.</p>
<p>I got an email yesterday from OSU offering me the Morrill Excellence Scholarship! However, I will probably not be attending OSU. They will offer this scholarship to someone else right?</p>

<p>I got my email about excellence two weeks ago and the next day an email about distinction interviews. My interview is Thursday so I imagine they will let us know about distinction next week</p>

<p>I was worried that i didn’t hear anything either and on this past Friday i got the Prominence Scholarship! It was sent through my email so maybe check that if you havent received notification.</p>

<p>Hey guys I just logged on to appstatus.osu.edu and checked financial aid, and it looks like they have a statement ready. I didn’t see the morrill there for me though 
But then again I haven’t received any email about the morrill yet either…</p>
<p>Me either, princeladipo. I’m not really surprised because my essay was awful, but I’m still hoping anyway. If the Morrill Scholarship isn’t listed under our financial aid, does that mean we weren’t accepted?</p>
<p>Hi my Daughter was awarded the Prominence award… I am confused on what that means…does it mean she pays the In State rate now for tuition? Even know we are from Illinois?</p>
<p>Sunshine, congratulations…it means your daughter pays ZERO for tuition. The Prominence covers all tuition including the non-resident surcharge.</p>
<p>I logged on too, and there isn’t anything listed about Morrill’s, so is the final award offer? I don’t have anything listed there about work study either, which I should qualify for… do we think this is the final offer or just the initial base? I am worried. =(</p>
<p>Are you sure? I don’t want to get my hopes up, I will take any money since we are out of state… But I was thinking that just means we pay the instate rates… If you are correct I am even more thrilled!</p>

<p>I emailed the Financial Aid office with a couple different questions and they said emails would continue to be sent out over the next couple of weks.</p>
