Mosaic?

i was just called a "person of color" by somebody from wake who just called me
i didn't realize that Asian fell into this category

if you're not white, is it very uncomfortable to be at wake? because that comment kind of makes me worry...

why would it make you worry? person of color means anyone who isn’t white. a lot of schools have special programs for minorities.

i didn’t realize that term was still politically correct, that’s all.

but back to my question, is it strange being a minority at wake?

Those were students who called you about this program. Trust me, they were making calls all day, and probably just used that term nonchalantly. If that term makes you feel uncomfortably, I am sorry.

I am minority student at Wake who is involved in many aspects of campus (Greek life, Student Union, Student Government, College Democrats, Campus Kitchens, Sports, etc.) and I do not feel marginalized or uncomfortable anyway pertaining to my race.
