Texas A & M University is conservative.

They are also very annoying. I've told them to get me off their mailing lists, but they still send me stuff. It's funny though, their emails are like this, "come join our christian brothers at the Bush library"

clockwork-
Haha. Very funny. Why are you wasting people's time? It looks like you are new to the CC, with only 8 posts. People prefer to share useful information-- not to make fun of the topic. I suggest you not do this again.

Yes, sir, jym626! Because a harmless joke is so devestating, and no one on CC has ANY time to kill.

A joke is not "devastating". It is just a waste of people's time, especiaally at 6:45 in the morning. There are plenty of other places to share humor. It just doesn't seem appropriate to make fun of peoples' legitimate questions. It seems insulting. Just my opinion.

5 Most Conservative Colleges and/or Universities

United States Military Academy

United States Naval Academy

United States Air Force Academy

United States Coast Guard Academy

United States Merchant Marine Academy.

There.

jym, grow a pair

Tcolgate-
you first. This is ridiculous.

it was a joke, a terrible joke that has been made several times in this thread and is now old, yes, but i dont think its "wasting peoples time"

I am aware that it was a joke, and I certainly hope that everyone else reading this was aware of that as well. However, at 6:30 in the morning, it just wasn't very funny. Many people use this forum for lots of different reasons, and frankly, before my morning cup of coffee, that post seemed inane. So how about we move on?? One of the moderators on one of the other threads deleted a bunch of posts because they got way off topic and off color. Let's not go there.

Wouldyoulikefries-
Sorry, not with that kind of post.My friends don't speak to me like that. Has it occurred to you that you aren't speaking with a 17 yr old?

I was just kidding, dude. Lighten up.

i went to wesleyan's homecoming and it was RIDICULOUS. everywhere i looked hippies hippies hippies. And i dont mean just standing around, they were all passing out something for a cause or banging on trashcans or something. It was a very short while that i learned thats the university that the movie "PCU" was based on. (PCU stands for Politically Correct University). But i also learned very quickly that there were plenty of normal people there. I imagine it is the same with all universities. There will always be a campus culture and counterculture, and you will inevitably find those whom you like.
