What is it? I'm just wondering why MOST people go to Carnegie Mellon?
Thanks!

There are entire schools dedicated to computer science and business, so I'd say they're the two largest majors. After them it's definitely ECE.

sry buy what is ECE? Im not good with acronyms

Electrical and Computer Engineering

Tepper is the smallest school with only around 80 people for this year's freshmen but I'd say its one of the most popular and lucrative as many try to double major, transfer, or minor in business.

How is the science program at Carnegie Mellon? It's not as popular as the arts fields, is it?
thanks!

Pure sciences are moderately popular, there are decent sized biology, chemistry, and physics departments. I think generally if you're good enough to get into CMU you're good enough to get into another school with slightly more well known science departments, though.

One of my friends was in Chem and he complained a lot of the kids wanted to go to med school and didn't share the same interest for the material that he did. In my physics classes there were a fair number of dual majors, but I think most of them were doing physics since they liked physics, though.
