Most rigorous schedule?

So my school offers 10 total AP courses.

I’m a rising senior, I plan to have taken 7 out of those 10. However, because of low interest numbers, my school is not holding an AP Spanish course next year. Will colleges I apply to realize that this course was not available to me even though it is shown on the course list?

So that makes it 7/9 AP courses I would have taken. Further, one AP is Computer Programming which is rather obscure and requires you to have taken a few courses to get into. Will colleges look at me not taking this class as me avoiding something? I plan to major in economics, so i didn’t find any use in going through all of the trouble to take it.

Thanks!

Yes the colleges will know that AP Spanish was not offered as nobody from your school would be able to take the course.
Not taking Computer Programming is totally fine. Colleges don’t expect you to go out of your way to take AP’s that you don’t really like or are not interested in. As long as your 7 AP’s is higher or on par with most of your peers (the “smart, overachieving” ones) then you’re fine.

Colleges don’t really care which AP classes you took (unless maybe you’re an engineering major and took no AP math/science classes). As long as you have enough AP’s to indicate that you’re a strong student, you’re fine. They won’t over-analyze your AP course selection.
