<p>Elvenlord, Fudan is a wonderful university. Mount Holyoke is a wonderful women's college. It is very hard to compare a large city university with several thousand students in one of the top cities in the world with a mid sized top women's college in rural Massachusetts. Your experiences at either would be super but VERY different.</p>

I heard back from another school today, and they're giving me more aid, and I think I'd rather go there.</p>

<p>FWIW: FAFSA is not the aid formula at most elite LAC's. They use the CSS Profile which takes into account other assets than just salary. Most people's EFC is higher with CSS Profile than FAFSA. Just the way it is. Schools meet need based on CSS Profile.</p>

i had to wait longer than u ppl who got in rd to get into my dream school. but it was absolutely worth the wait.
