Mount Sinai Humanities and Medicine Program

Since you’re an entering junior, you’ll be considered on a “space available” basis, so that’s a point against you. Your GPA and SAT scores look good (assuming your SAT score is 1460/1600 and not 1460/2400), and your lack of science won’t count against you. If you’re really interested in the program, I would give the application a shot.

Wait, so you’re saying that my lack of science classes isn’t going to come up at all? :confused

Also, would it be feasible for me to apply within a month or so and expect a shot?

Well, seeing as this is a Humanities program… I honestly wouldn’t know, I love the concept but have never heard of this. I would have jumped at the chance though, as I have a huge passion for medical history and ethics.

Would a having a minor in a science disqualify you from applying?

Also, do the application essays change from year to year or do they stay the same?..If they stay the same, then I want to get a head start on them
