<p>Don’t worry about it just yet. You might still get housing, especially if someone decides not to pay their tuition by the August 10th deadline and opens up a slot. Things happen that causes dorm space to open up. Good luck :)</p>
<p>At the parents’ orientation I went to in May they said that all Freshmen were guaranteed housing for the coming year and that no one would be placed in hotels.</p>

<p>Maybe it was qualified with “if you apply by the deadline”. I don’t actually remember.</p>

<p>^ Yep! Every dorm room comes with a microfridge unit.</p>
<p>Rutgers was one of the few schools that included the microfridge for free. All the other colleges we looked at charged a rental fee.</p>

<p>The fridges are good too! My milk accidentally got frozen. I didn’t realize that the temperature knob was on high.</p>
