Moved from one Honors class to CP freshman year...should I explain why?

Hi,

Freshman year my mental health was in the toilet and because of that I had gotten a B- in Honors Biology. My teacher basically told me to move down to CP so I did, and the next year I got an A in CP Chem. Then in Junior year I took CP Physics and got an A too. My question is should I explain why I jumped from Honors to CP or will it not matter? I’m applying to alot of T50 schools. Most of my other classes are AP/Honors, so I feel like it won’t be super noticeable but maybe I’m wrong, thanks!

You don’t need to explain anything. Don’t worry about this.

Trying to explain will only call more attention to it.

Talking classes that you will be most successful in is the key.
