I love movies. :] Most types. I just watched a film on youtube called "four eyed monsters." It was an amazing indie film.

What type of movies do you guys love?

basically I'll watch anything but I don't always like scifi/fantasy/sports movies

Violent but funny/intelligent (Kill Bill)

anything but sci-fi, and fantasy..

anyone seen hot fuzz? wanted to see it so badlyyy

I like drama and action movies...foreign films are pretty sweet too.

i really dig dramas and romance (ahhh how delightful it is to be a girl), and comedy as well but lately the comedy movies have been blowing. its such lame humor. like that awful borat movie. i finally rented it because my friend refused to talk to me until i did, and i swear my IQ is roughly around room temperature now because of it.

You're right. Def Poetry Jam is cool.

I like foreign films, too. Especially French films. I just watched the dreamers (for the 4th time).

Oh, and Bollywood. :]

In order of preference
Comedy, non romantic
Satire
Action
Sci-Fi
Scary/Violent
Fantasy
Foreign Films with Subtitles

I love comedy, classic, foreign films, and anime movies. Actually, the movie that I want to see right now is called "Knocked Up." It looks funny!

I've seen absolutely everything made by Hollywood between 1910 and 1960. Well, almost everything. Then the studio system fell and the Code was abolished. Destroyed American filmmaking, I say. :p

I also love certain foreign movements: German expressionism, French New Wave, and anything Italian circa 1940s-1970s. My favourite directors are DREYER, Passolini, Visconti, Renoir, and Godard.

And I will watch anything with Laurence Olivier....oh, sir Larry! swoon

Knocked Up really wasn't as good as i expected
it honestly made me never want to have kids.

Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers

It's in 8 parts on youtube.

romantic comedies, + funny comedies (Dodgeball, Elf, etc)...I watch anything though, and I do like action and sci-fi a lot.

bookworkgirl, go see knocked up! its hilarious. i almost peed i was laughing so hard.

Cool, thanks!! Now I'm absolutely going to see it!!

horror, action, fantasy, and foreign

I just completed watching all the movies on the Top 250 list on imdb.com

Most of them were incredible. You guys should see all of them.

I like just about any movie, but it seems my favorites are those that aren't from Hollywood and that are...unique.

I also really like foreign movies, my favorites being City of God and Pan's Labyrinth.
