Movies!!!

Okay, I am kind of bored in the midst of preparing for APs and SATs, so I made this thread. Does anyone have any movies they particularly want to see? What are your favorite movies? Any good recommendations?

I CANNOT wait for:

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

...it'll blow your socks off.

Keep Posting!

Ladros

I can't wait till Pirates of the Carribean 2 this summer.

omg korean cinema is so hot..... i am paki here though..... still love it

*comes out this summer

War of the Worlds looks pretty awesome.

star wars is going to be beautiful. more beautiful than any movie :-p

dam_ straight chalk! Is anyone going midnight? I'm going to go provided that I get a ride and tickets. STAR WARS!!!!

Good call on War of the Worlds.

Sorry sarorah, but Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest is set to release July 7th, 2006. So a bit more than a year left...

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy- April 29

...and I, too, cannot wait for Star Wars.

Thought to make a thread like this, but decided instead to bump an old one and momentarily confuse those who first stumble upon it :p

So what did everyone think of the movies that our predecessors were anticipating? Episode three I thought was pretty good, POTC:2 was really underwhelming and convoluted when compared to the first, War of the Worlds was... decent, I guess, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was, erm, enjoyable, from my perspective, but only because I've already read the series -- it would have likely sucked had I not.

So, to repeat the OP's question: Does anyone have any movies they particularly want to see? What are your favorite movies? Any good recommendations?

I'm looking forward to Toy Story 3 and The Hobbit, but those are both quite a ways off...

I'm boycotting movie theaters, because 10+ dollars is TOO MUCH for a movie ticket [doesn't include food and stuff, because I always sneak it in].

Around here, the matinees are only $5.75. That's not too bad.

Matinees are like, $7.50 where I am. Movies are really expensive nowadays. It's really upsetting.

^I just read "Matinees" and thought it said manatee for a sec.

Looking forward to The Hobbit, but like Moodrets said, it's a bit far off. I would highly reccomend Spirited Away. If you wanna know what true creativity is, watch that movie.

^ Spirited Away is good. Although, that's just from what I remember when I watched it as like a ... 10 year old maybe lol.

I'm looking forward to Quantum of Solace just because Casino Royale is one of my favorite movies.

Yeah you probably weren't old enough to appreciate its true greatness...

^ Lol, don't underestimate my 10-year-old self :]

Although I must agree, I probably didn't even pay attention to it...

Eagle eyes

i wanna see quarantine. love freaky movies
