SPROUL 2nd FLOOR!! Yeah excited pretty much, but I have some questions.

Do we get free meals tomorrow? Official move in starts on Friday, so I was wondering whether I have to buy my food tomorrow. Can we eat 3 meals a day if we got 14 blue until Sunday?

Also how can we go about upgrading our meal plan?

What is the difference between short term parking lot and long term parking lot? Where is lot SV and Lot 7 - Level 2?

I am moving in earlier than my roomates, you guys think it's okay if I take a closet/desk of my choice? Or wait until they come and talk about it. I do have a lot of luggage so I want to unpack them right away though..

I think your meal plan has started already so you’ll have your swipes for your “free” meals. Not so sure about the specifics of the meal plan stuff.

If you negotiated with your roommates, I suppose you’d had already pick your desk and bed of choice. If not, I suppose you’ll get dibs on whatever you pick assuming your roommates aren’t stingy and picky individuals.

Mail address, you should ask the clerks at the front desk. And I’m moving in on the 20th and I will be on the 2nd floor too.

i don’t think anyone will answer the meal question since they never allowed thursday move ins during the past few years… as for furniture, you should talk to your roommates first… or just claim the best stuff lol

and mail address will be in an envelop when you check in along with your roomkey and all the other stuff

i move in tomorrow as well! i spoke with my roomates about the beds/desk/closet situation. i have no clue about the meal plans BUT i saw a chart on the ucla website and i think it said meal plans start sunday at dinner?

That’s pretty lame to know the meal plans don’t start when you get there… for the people not arriving on the 20th that is. Assuming what you say is true, of course.

During Move-In from Friday, September 18th at 7 a.m. through Sunday, September 20th at 2 p.m., On-Campus residents and their guests can dine at specific residential restaurants gratis.

gratis = free
so i’m guessing if you move in tomorrow you have to pay for food, but otherwise you’re good
