Moving the summer before senior year?

I am curious as to how moving before senior year will affect my college application and admissions.
Will I be able to use counselor and teacher recommendations from my old school, where I went for three years?
Also, how will colleges evaluate/handle admissions. Does anyone have experience with this?

Lastly, are there any other reasons that I should reconsider moving before senior year?

well, different school, different people, different ranking…
UCs mostly accept people by their rank in their class and if you go to a high school that sends a lot of people to a good university the it brings down your chance of getting into a good college
