Hello, next year I am going to be a junior. I currently live in Morocco but has recently decided to move to London and for that I need to enroll in an American high school as long as I study in the American system.
So far, my eyes are on three choices: ASL(american school of London), Tasis and ACS Cobham…
I am really lost choosing. I would love to know how hard is it to get into each of them? And who has the best system for me/ the toughest?
Did you or your parents decide to move to London? Are you looking for an American-pattern school because you’re an American?
@MYOS1634 I decided to and I am not American but I study in an American system. I am also interested in taking IB.
I used to go to ASL and it was not too competitive. You should be able to get in.
Do they all offer IB? It has been a long time, but they used to have slightly different orientations in terms of where students went to college (as in which part of the world. ASL was the most US focused.)
ASL does NOT offer an IB programme due to a longstanding policy of the school. The other 2 schools do have IB programmes. ASL is however, the most academically competitive of the three schools and can also be the hardest to get into (basically ASL will only have openings for 11th grade if somebody has moved). ASL is also located in a very expensive part of London so you will need to take that into consideration.
