So my family is planning to move in January, but that's when I send in my applications for colleges. What can I do so that the colleges don't mail to my old address?

Most correspondence is going to be by email. Not sure how many still mail acceptances by snail mail only anymore. You have a couple of options for that. For any schools you’ve already sent an application to, send them a change of address notice once you know your new address. Also, file to have your mail forwarded at your old post office, they’ll forward all first class mail for 1 year. Or, rent a PO Box in your new city now and use that as your address on all applications.

Thank you! That helped so much.
