College mailed decision

I didn’t know where to put this question, but I need help. I’m moving late January, specifically the 29 and when I filled out college applications I did not know I was moving. An apple fell on my head and I realized some of the colleges i’m applying to like vcu and cnu do not give online decisions, but they send them through mail. I’m worried that my decision may not come in the mail by the 29th. We have bought the house and have the keys so is there a way to fix that on my application? do I just email the university?

If you file a change of address form with the Post Office they will forward your mail for 18 months. You will get your mail with a day or 2 delay.

Contact the schools and update your address. But as stated the post office should catch anything else and forward it if you put in a changed of address. (I’m sure your parents will be doing that). People move all the time.

You can also contact the admissions offices at schools where you have applied and provide them with the new address. Be sure to include enough information so they can identify you - full name, prior address, new address at a minimum.

I’d contact admissions and give them your new address.
