Hi all :)

Just wondering what you think the best public health schools are? I already know Yale & Harvard, and would like to know which others have a good reputation, and any other info?? I want to study Global Health.

Thanks for the help :)

Johns Hopkins University?

Berkeley has a good School of Public Health.

UNC, Chapel Hill

add on: columbia, UPenn, UMich, and possibly WUSTL. I want to study global health too, possibly Epidmiology if I choose Yale.

EMORY!!!!!

It's program isn't quite as good as Johns Hopkins or UNC's, but it's still an awesome program. The CDC is virtually on-campus, as well as similar organizations. What more could you want?

Just a tidbit...Duke is getting very Global Health-oriented, and they're even adding a Global Health FOCUS program in the spring.

thanks for the help :)
im gonna go to Sydney University. it has a GREAT MPH program in international health (the best i've seen) plus it's free for me :)

sydney has a beautiful campus (gothic square where u graduate), and its a one year program, and you can add on two years if you want your doctorate. they also have different departments, like health policy/management, and indigenous health. and you can start in 2nd semester (nth hemisphere year). luv it!

flutterbyhigh, tell me about yourself. what do you want to do in the end??
im a 2nd year pathology student, two more years to go, in sydney.
