<p>Can you join the MRC as a sophomore? It would be my first year at UMICH so technically I would be a "First year" but is that restricted to "freshman"?</p>

<p>There are going to be very few (if any) people outside of the MRC directors who can answer this question for you. I would suggest sending an email, the main email address is discovermrc[at]umich.edu . Let them know your situation (transfer, gap year, semester entering) and they will be able to give you the best answer.</p>
