Housing!? and MRC

Hey I had a few uestions about Housing and the MRC.

First off, if you decide to put a roomate on your housing app, are you pretty much guarenteed North Campus? Secondly, if you do not put a roommate but get the form in for the first round and want central/hill, are you pretty likely to get your top choice?

Is the MRC a good community to join? Is this work overhwleming or is it good for a first year student. Secondly are the kids very social or are they just simply all focused on acamdeics and research? Is it difficult to get into this program? Finally, do kids in MRC only socialize with other MRC students or do they have friends from all over and do some join frats?

Does anyone know anything about this program? Thanks

Hey, in regards to housing you can never be sure where you’ll be placed (besides MRC, RC and Honors), but putting a roommate does increase your chances of being on North and it does say that on the housing application. For MRC, I’m not the right person to answer haha but if you don’t want to do it freshman year there are plenty of other research opportunities in the next years

hahaha yea i just gotta find some more info about the program and what its like before the housing dealine
