<p>Hello, Myself Punit Kulkarni from india…
I m looking for decent colleges in US for MS in Comp Sci for FALL 2012…</p>

<p>1)I’ve many good things about Cal poly Pomona as an Engg collge…can anyone confirm it is as good as that in their Comp sci dept (for graduate level)??</p>

<p>2)I’ve not heard any indians students applying to this college… so how many indians are their? a few, moderate, plenty?</p>

<p>3)how is Overall Teaching in comp sci dept?</p>

<p>4)What about On campus jobs? are they available? I would like to make 500$ per month just to compensate my living costs…</p>

<p>5)I have slighly below average profile (56% in comp Engg from Mumbai university)… would i be able to get in??</p>

<p>6) What are MS CS classes size? 20? 40? above 50?

<p>Well most people on this forum are incoming freshman so we don’t know much about the masters programs…</p>

<p>There quite a sizable Indian population, both faculty and student body. I would suggest looking up the clubs on the CPP website. I would not make this the main criteria in my college search. There’s also a sizable Indian community off campus, so I a sure you’ll get the social support. CPP has a great computer science program and good reputation with recruiters. Probably the best in the SC region.</p>
