Did everyone who has a blank line receive this call from admissions, asking how they were doing and if they had any questions? Or do they call everyone who has applied?

i have a blank line and did receive a call. i don’t know if theres any correlation though

have no blank line and received call. no correlation.

Blank line: yes. Call: no.

Similar
Blank line: yes.(02/17/09) Call: no.

my blank line is on 2/12/09 and it shows MSC Call #1 on 2/16/09, but i never received the call. Likely, I was not home at the time.

blank line:yes
call:no

I got a call asking if I have any questions, but I go to boarding school and they called my house so my parents gave them my cell # but they never called again

What is a blank line?

(sorry - what does msc stand for??)

Making Student Connections or something like that…

a GSC called me twice lol, but I didn’t pick up :P

no blank line
yes call
…i don’t see any patterns from this or other threads about the blank line. Personally i think the blank line stuff means nothing

Blank line yes, call no.

I think that they make phone calls to students who they think are interested in Carnegie Mellon or whom they are interested in who did not visit or get an alumni interview or an interview with an admissions councilor. I don’t think getting a call means you are necessarily in, nor do I think that getting not getting a call means you are not considered, especially if you visited or had an interview. The interviews are supposed to be informative.

i got a admissions counselor interview, a call, and a blank line. Personally, I don’t think there is any correlation.

CHill, people. Just Chill.

^Chill, people. Just Chill.

Why do you think we are not chilling. This thread is the proof.
