Does the Morrill scholarship look for leadership at all?
I believe one of, if not the, main criteria/criterion for Morrill is leadership in diversity-related activities.
For the essay is it more like a personal essay, did you use I, myself in your essay? Also I was wondering if the essay was a place to share your experiences and what you did to help with diversity? @freezycool

The scholarship is about diversity haha. Of course you were supposed to mention that and talk about yourself and what you’ve done. 
hence the ODI’s (office of diversity and inclusion) Morrill Scholarship Program. Diversity can mean various things and not just race and religion so keep that in mind.
