Glad to see Minnesota on the list. :) You'll save $60,000 over 4 years by going to Minnesota over Indiana or MSU. They all rank similar, have similar student bodies and are all in the Big Ten.

I think you'll get in all 3 of the schools. That's a solid GPA, and your test scores are right at the 25% mark of accepted applicants for all the schools.

thanks, you're the guy who suggested minnesota in one of my other threads right?

add some safeties

I've already got a safety, I'm probably gonna either have uw-milwaukee or uw-eau claire as a safety

Yes, I should clarify that Minnesota isn't really the exact same as IU and MSU. MSU and IU are in college towns, while Minnesota is in a big city. MSU and IU both have about 40% of the undergraduates in UG housing, Minnesota only has 20%. So they do have differences in that UMinnesota is somewhat of a commuter school and is in a big city, compared to IU and MSU.

Yea I don't really have preference on if it's a big town/college town.

I'm really good with either, I'm just not wanting to go to a small town

id just like to see others ideas on if ill get in

hopes for replies

UMinn is an excellent school and the Twin Cities area is a great big-city experience for students, underrated for many years as a commuter school because the U felt an obligation to not turn its backs on kids, esp low & mod income kids from the immediate area. But that doesn’t make it any less than a top quality public U. ... The area around the U is kind of like a college town village right near downtown Minnie ... check it out.
