MSU or UMN? Which one to choose?

I can't seem to choose between the 2. University of Minnesota-Twin Cities is better ranked than MSU. Still, I feel that the spartan experience will be great but I am still unsure about which one to choose. I always wanted to go to a city so I would have preferred Minneapolis.

If you’d really like to be in a city, go to UMN. East Lansing is nice as a college town, but it’s not a city and even though you’re close to downtown Lansing, that’s not the nicest place and I doubt you’d be going there much anyways unless you had an internship or something.

You can’t really choose between MSU and Minnesota merely based on rankings-rankings wise they are so similar that any differences are likely to be insignificant. But it depends what academic programs you are look at specifically. Minnesota has more a city-atmosphere, while MSU is more a college-town. MSU has better sports teams, if that means anything to you. Is cost important? I’d choose based off that.
