haha, ok first off apologize to antique for changing the subject of the thread, since she started it, not me. Ok anyways, on to your question. Actually a friend of mine's older brother graduated from UDM and got into several medical schools. I'm not sure what he did or how UDM is, since I didn't apply. I do know that he had a competitive MCAT (34-36), a high GPA, and he graduated in 3 years. His decision ultimately was between University of Michigan or Duke for med school and he chose Michigan for various reasons. He went to UDM with a full scholarship (his dad works there, and he had great high school stats), so he saved a lot of money by choosing UDM.

BTW- my interview went pretty well for the Med Scholars Program. My student interview was by someone who graduated from my school! lol. Good luck to everyone else that applied.

I applied, but unfortunately did not receive an interview. Weird, because MSU's prog is much more difficult to get into, let alone receive an interview.

Yeh, MSU is def. harder-- I'm really surprised you didn't get invited to Scholars Day. Well, it's on the 19th, so I'm going. My sis is actually in the program already!

Actually, I was invited to Scholars Day. I wasn't invited for a MedStart interview. I'm still going to compete for the scholarship. I'll be there on the 19th as well.

i'm going to scholars day, but a relative of mine applied to the medstart program but actually got a letter of rejection. I think it was rolling admiss.
Im just trying to get more info about UDM so I can jsut decide were I want to go!

Um, actually I was talking about their general undergrad school. I just really want to know more about this University. But ya they do have a dental program

One of my friends who interviewed as well said that Christine Shafer told the parents that we would find out on March 10th. I heard that it would be the week of March 10th. That's this Thursday! What is correct?

yeah i'm hoping for March 10th. I think it's March 10-15. They might do it the same way as they did for interview invites (ie sending them out on 2 or 3 diff days). I'm still crossing my fingers.lol.

I got the Spartan Tuition Enhancement Fund. I didnt even apply for it though, they just gave me a letter in the mail saying because of my activities and academics and stuff.

Anyway, yeh, I'm crossing my fingers for the 10th also. GL to everyone!
