I think we will all know by the end of next week about Penn State. Been waiting since December so I feel your pain!! :((

@dreamgirl1 I really hope so! Are you able to sign in now? Sorry to be so obsessive but we need to check something about my D’s essay application and can’t get in to verify!

Nope…I’m assuming they are indeed updating statuses. Keep checking tho cuz it’s been this way all week on and off. I eventually was able to sign in again and know others with same scenario.

Ok we’ll log on later today! Thanks m for all your help!

Check My PSU…up and running now!

Did anyone get an envelope from Pace today? Not at home but apparently the mailman delivered something from pace.

LOL YES! Don’t get too excited…its a whole lot of NOTHING but it will raise your blood pressure for a half second when you see the words “CONGRATULATIONS”. I swear they like torturing us!

DoReMiMom - Yes; was congratulatory letter from Dean of Arts School - emphasized that we still need department acceptance (apparently after all auditions done). Nice letter.

Thanks for the warning!! Son received a little envelope from Point Park today. I solemnly hand it to him and he walks into the other room to open it and…it is a letter to say how affordable Point Park is!!! He received mail from three of the schools from who (m?) he is waiting to hear audition results yesterday, all non-audition related contents.

HA! Thanks to dreamgirl, we were forewarned in our house. I really think they laugh maniacally as they type up those letters.

No…they only laugh maniacally when you’ve been rejected, yet they still send the mailings!

@isurg1 Thank you. You saved my husband’s birthday dinner from being a tense atmosphere. Had I not read your post, I would’ve been pushing to get home to hold the envelope up to the light! Did your daughter audition at Chicago Unifieds isurg1? If yes, based on the schools you’ve listed that she’s been accepted to, I think our D’s have met at auditions and are now social media friends.

I just told my husband that I should have read CC first before we all freaked out over that small Pace envelope! Live and learn.

I keep telling myself…no news is good news.

Confession: I’ve been being mean to the mailman. Okay, maybe not mean, but I definitely have an attitude when I see him and ESPECIALLY when he hands me a stack of letter-sized envelopes. I finally had to tell him why he sees me dart (from the window where I was watching for him to pull up) to the end of my driveway in record-speed. He’s now, as he puts it, “pulling for” my D, and greets me with less of a concerned look, but still, he definitely looks a little frightened.

@bisouu I feel you! And with regards to the PSU error thing, I believe that @dreamgirl1 is right and that really is just a site error. I don’t think they disable your account? But am not sure.

DoReMiMom D was indeed at Chicago Unifieds enjoying the balmy weather (: Agree the Ds are probably FB friends. And, we jumped the gun on the Pace letter when we saw “congratulations” - texted D (at rehearsal) and she started telling her friends. Then I read the 2nd paragraph… continue to wait. But it was a very nice letter. Glad your husband had a relaxed bday dinner.

DoReMiMom, he’s probably thinking, “Hey! I’m only the messenger!”

@DoReMiMom he was probably afraid that you would go postal on him. Did he have his hand on the pepper spray holster?

The waiting sucks. D got the ONU string bag yesterday like many of you, but that’s just a tease. I spent an hour yesterday writing a spreadsheet of the schools that we are waiting to hear from, their projected response dates, and the methods. This may have become an obsession…
